Sometimes women reach a point in talk therapy where they feel like they've stopped making progress. This can be both frustrating and discouraging. When talking alone is no longer creating the shifts clients are looking for, many therapists recommend adding a somatic approach to support the healing process.
Transformative Touch is a gentle, hands-on therapy that helps uncover the root causes of stuck patterns by exploring areas of tension and holding in the body. During your session, you remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a massage table while Laurie uses gentle, supportive touch to invite awareness and movement at various points on the body.
As your body begins to release tension and you become more aware of its sensations, new insights and possibilities often emerge naturally.
Rather than trying to "fix" anything, Transformative Touch supports your body's innate ability to heal—helping you feel more grounded, present, and at ease in your own skin.
To make the most of your transformative journey, we suggest wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease and relaxation. Hydration is key, so please drink plenty of water before and after your session.
